My father, Charles N. Belmont started working for a steam cleaning company in the mid 1950's. Unsatisfied with the mediocre
results, he set out to develop his own system. With the help of a chemist, he developed a solution that could clean without the typical soaps, bleaches, powders, foams, caustics, or other chemicals that could harm not only the carpets, but the people that lived on them. After two years of research, Unisolv was created. Not only was it 100% safe, but it left no soapy residue to attract more soil--which is still a common problem with carpet cleaners today.

After developing the solution, he developed the system to use it, known as The Belmont Method. A truly integrated process, which uses only the finest equipment in the most effective way, The Belmont Method's five-step system cleaned carpets more thoroughly than any other process. Even today, most other companies use only a one-step system, trying to cut corners to make more profit.

The Belmont Method was franchised, but many of the franchises failed, because no one was interested in keeping the level of standard that was integral to his system. So after training with him for over a year, I brought this service to Colorado, remaining one of the only people who still use his system the way he designed and left it. Using a new soap-free cleaner, we provide the only system that still offers the service in the way Charles Belmont did, which speaks for his 45 years worth of satisfied customers.
